QUESTION Lineage II: Client: multi protocol

Previously, I was able to play Lineage II on your server using the classic client on Linux with Wine.

Now, when I launch l2.exe, I only see text and can no longer start the game.
Yes, I know you don’t officially support Linux for Lineage II, and I understand the sentiment of “Who even uses Linux?” However, even if Linux users make up less than 0.5% of your player base, you've effectively lost those players. And it’s not getting any better.

Having both the original and classic clients available would likely lead to a significant increase in player numbers. With more players comes a higher likelihood of increased donations, helping the project grow and thrive. Providing more client options will make the game accessible to a broader audience and strengthen the community.

Players also want the option to play on the original client, and we’re still waiting for it.
