Game alike Lineage

Hello everybody,
I am a java/android programmer. Recently I have made two games for android.
I love lineage and it's economic aspect (dwarves & trading).
When I was younger I was playing l2 whole my leasure time.
Now I'm focused on creating games.

I have a question for you all:
What do you thing about game like lineage, where you would be a Trader (one of many, this means NPC Traders) and you would have to sell your stuff to NPC warriors/mages/other traders..  Those npc warriors and players would fight somewhere and take part in some events and go back to town, where a player (you) and other npc trader would have a challenge to sell own items to them.

That's in short. Game would be in 2D. Moving a character would be right and left. Game would be single player. All  traders (competitors) / warriors (buyers) / mages (buyers) would be simulated (artificial intelligence).

Please answer me if I have a good idea of making such a game.
